I'm a children's book author who writes to discover. I'm fascinated by what is beneath the surface (literally and figuratively!) and it delights me to uncover and understand. Life is full of magic and mystery. Some of my favorite things are the ocean, rivers, and snow. I also love cities, with so many people, so many stories and dreams side by side. I am very interested in how we humans can live together and alongside the natural world.
